| Description: 3-Terminal Positive Voltage Regulators
The AX78XX series of three-terminal positive
regulators employ internal current-limiting and
thermal-shutdown, making them essentially indestructible.
They can deliver up to 1A output current.
These voltage regulators are monolithic integrated
circuits designed as fixed-voltage regulators
for a wide variety of applications including local,
on-card regulation. Although designed primarily
as a fixed voltage regulator, these devices can
be used with external components to obtain adjustable
voltages and currents.
